Develop and maintain mental peace, through the practise of meditation and the understandings taught in Buddha’s teachings.

Learning to transform our mind and change our attitude from negative to positive.

Eventually by integrating these understandings into our daily life we can begin to develop wisdom and solve our problems once and for all.

Over these 4 weeks we will explore the meditations taught in Buddha’s middling Lamrim teachings, as taught by Geshe Kelsang Gyatso in How to Understand the Mind, which increase our wisdom in our daily life.

w/b 9 Oct:                     Understanding how negative states of mind are the cause of our problems and suffering.

w/b 16 Oct:                   Recognising the root cause from which all other negative states arise.

w/b 23 Oct:                   Wishing to move our mind towards positive states.

w/b 30 Nov:                  Being determined to stop negative states and wishing to move our mind towards positive states of mind. 

All our classes are drop in and you can turn up any week if you cannot make the full course   |    Each class consists of guided meditation and a talk.


No.  Everyone is welcome.  These methods are applicable in our daily lives whatever our background or beliefs.

No.  The classes are all seated and you are welcome to sit on a chair or on a cushion on the floor.

Yes.  All of our classes are suitable for everyone.

No.  All of our classes are drop in.  However for half day courses and evening classes in the city there is a discount if you book in advance.

We are a not for profit charity.  All of the fees for classes cover the costs of running our Centres and go towards our International Temples Project.
