Booking Terms, Refund Policy & Covid19 Safety Policy

Some special conditions apply to our Online courses.
All of our classes, courses and events are open to those in the Greater Manchester area, and to those outside the area who would have intended to join in-person under normal circumstances.
Links to online classes/courses/retreats are only intended for those who have registered and should not be shared.
Audio Recordings: To receive audio recordings (for special events such as public talks) you must either have attended in-person, or booked and received the links for an online course. Audio recordings should not be shared or in any way distributed.
Payment: Debit/CreditCard payments or Paypal only currently accepted. In-person classes must be booked in advance via the website.
If you have been diagnosed with Covid-19 or have developed symptoms (principally high temperature, persistent cough, loss of smell or taste among others) within the last 14 days, or, if you live with/or have been in contact with someone who has been diagnosed or had symptoms of Covid-19 within the last 14 days, please do not visit the Centre.
Covid 19 Guidelines/Restrictions for In-Person Courses/Events
We currently have one class a week in-person (Tuesday evenings) and will look to increase this over the coming weeks. Other Classes and courses are continuing on an online basis only. The World Peace Cafe is currently closed.
Numbers are restricted to facilitate social distancing and face coverings must be worn at all times.
If you are exempt from wearing a face covering, please let us know in advance as we will need to reserve you a section within the Meditation room with enhanced social distancing.
Please hand sanitise when entering the building and use the one-way system and maintaining social distancing from others.
In accordance with government guidelines the meditation room must be well ventilated so windows will be open during the class, so please dress with this in mind.
Refreshments are not provided and socialising before and after class is currently not permitted.

Full payment is required at the time of booking for both in-person and online bookings. Online classes are available Live-streamed and also a recording is available to watch for 5 days after the event (Lunchtime meditations are only available live).
Enquiries:
For all classes & courses full payment is required at the time of booking. If cancelled more than 24 hours before the start of the course/retreat we will give you a full refund. If you cancel within 24 hours of the start of the course/retreat no refund will be given.
Exceptions are discretionary and may be made in cases such as bereavement or sickness (including Covid-19 self-isolation or local lockdown), or other reasonably unforeseen circumstances. All such requests must be made in writing to info@kmcmanchester.org within 2 weeks of the course/retreat start date.
Donating Cancelled Fees to International Temple’s Project. If you wish to donate the refund to the International Temple’s Project, please indicate this at the time of cancellation.

These are only intended for those who live in the Greater Manchester area, or those who would have travelled to a class in normal circumstances.
Confirmation: You will receive an email to say your booking has been received which will contain links to the class if you have booked an online place.
Children: Under 16s must be accompanied by an adult at all times. With regret we have no child care facilities and KMC Manchester cannot be held responsible for children whilst at the centre.
Young Adults: 16 and 17 year olds must be accompanied by an over 18.
Discounts: A 30% discount is available to those who need it, you can enter student, OAP or unemployed into the box requesting a promotional code to apply the discount to the booking.
Restricted Mobility: We regret that currently, we do not have wheelchair access to the classes and that our meditation room is located upstairs. As soon as we have venues open with access we will make this clear on the relevant pages.
General Guidelines during your visit to KMC Manchester you are requested to please refrain from smoking (incl. electronic cigarettes), taking intoxicants and drinking alcohol in the building and in the grounds.
Pets: With regret we cannot accept pets except Guide or other Assistance Dogs.
