We are situated on Portland Street just off Oxford Road.   We are opposite the Premiere Inn, TOPS Buffet and Novotel on the corner of Dickinson Street.  See map below.

BY CAR Set your sat nav to M1 4QD there is parking next to the Temple, however this is by parking meter and has a maximum stay of 2 hours. There is a multi-storey car park on Charles Street that is £2 all day saturday and sunday or after 4pm on week days.

BY BUS The Centre is on the main bus route into Piccadilly Gardens.   The Witches Way bus from Barnsley and Vantage buses from Leigh go right past the Centre.  We are also close to Chorlton Street where the National Express and Pennine buses go from.

BY TRAM The closest stop to us is St. Peters Square which all trams go through.

BY TRAIN We are just around the corner from Oxford Road train station and not to far from Piccadilly station.  From Oxford Rd station cross over and walk up Oxford road passed the Palace Theatre on your right, take a right at the next lights, this is Portland St, we are on the first corner road on the right.


76 High Lane, M21 9XF

We are situated on High Lane, opposite St Johns Church.   See map below.

BY CAR Set your sat nav to M21 9XF there is free parking on the streets around the Centre.   If you come from Chester Road take the turning at Stretford Mall along Edge Lane.   At the fork in the road at the lights further down take the right fork which turns into High Lane.   We are further down on the left hand side.

BY BUS The number 85 and 86 buses run from the city centre to Chorlton.   You can pick them up at Piccadilly gardens, Princess Street or on Oxford Road and at the university opposite the Royal College of Music.  The number 22 and 23 come from Stockport through Chorlton and on to Bolton.   There is also a bus that goes through from the Trafford Centre.

BY TRAM If you get the tram to East Didsbury or Manchester Airport these have stops at Chorlton.

BY TRAIN If you get off a train at Deansgate you can cross the bridge and get the East Didsbury tram.  If you get off at Oxford road you can cross the road and get an 85 or 86 bus from just outside the Principal Hotel.   If you get off at Piccadilly you can either walk to Piccadilly Gardens and get an 85 or 86 bus or get on the tram to Altrincham and change at Cornbrook for the tram to East Didsbury or Manchester Airport.

No.  The classes are all seated and you are welcome to sit on a chair or on a cushion on the floor.

Yes.  All of our classes are suitable for everyone.

No.  All of our classes are drop in.  However for half day courses and evening classes in the city there is a discount if you book in advance.

We are a not for profit charity.  All of the fees for classes cover the costs of running our Centres and go towards our International Temples Project.
