Do you ever feel that you are too busy to meditate? You just have too much to do and meditation just slips down the list of priorities?
On this course we will explore how we can encourage ourselves to make time for daily meditation and build it into our daily life no matter how much we’ve got going on.
We will also explore how we can be meditating, no matter where we are or what we are doing. We can use our daily experiences as opportunities to learn and develop more positive habits of mind. In this way, our every day life and our meditation practice can be united so eventually everything will become a meditation and our mind can be at peace, even in the face of difficulties.
 
Each class contains –
Breathing Meditation
Each class begins with a short breathing meditation to calm the mind and enable us to let go of the mental busyness.
Talk
A talk showing how the methods found in modern Buddhism are applicable and accessible for our busy lives.
Concluding Meditation
The session will end with a meditation related to the topic with a conclusion that we can take away into our daily life

No.  Everyone is welcome.  These methods are applicable in our daily lives whatever our background or beliefs.

No.  The classes are all seated and you are welcome to sit on a chair or on a cushion on the floor.

Yes.  All of our classes are suitable for everyone.

No.  All of our classes are drop in.  However for half day courses and evening classes in the city there is a discount if you book in advance.

We are a not for profit charity.  All of the fees for classes cover the costs of running our Centres and go towards our International Temples Project.
