VENERABLE GESHE KELSANG GYATSO

The Founder of NKT-IKBU, as well as KMC Manchester, is a contemporary Buddhist meditation Master who has dedicated his entire life to world peace by spreading the compassion and wisdom of Buddha throughout the world.

Through the International Temples Project, which he founded, he has created hundreds of meditation centres and Temples worldwide, developed special study and meditation programmes and trained modern Buddhist Teachers in over 40 countries.

He is the author of 23 highly acclaimed books on Buddhism and meditation that present even the most profound aspects of Buddha’s teachings in ways that are easy to understand and integrate into our busy lives.

By applying his teachings to their lives everyone, whether Buddhist or not, can learn to solve their daily problems, improve their relationships with others and follow a pure spiritual path that leads to permanent inner peace and happiness.

No.  Everyone is welcome.  These methods are applicable in our daily lives whatever our background or beliefs.

No.  The classes are all seated and you are welcome to sit on a chair or on a cushion on the floor.

Yes.  All of our classes are suitable for everyone.

No.  All of our classes are drop in.  However for half day courses and evening classes in the city there is a discount if you book in advance.

We are a not for profit charity.  All of the fees for classes cover the costs of running our Centres and go towards our International Temples Project.
