Our mind is with us 24 hours a day every day. It can make us laugh or make us cry. It can cause us to love. It can cause us to hate. It can lead us to bliss or plunge us into sorrow. It can make us happy and destroy that same happiness in an instant. Like a balloon in the wind, we just don’t know where it is going or what is coming next. Yet we barely know what it is. How can we be mindful if we don’t know what our mind is?
What exactly is our mind? How does it work? And how can we learn to control it? With a clearer perspective on our mind our life becomes happier, more balanced and moves steadily forward. This course will explain how to use our own mind to make this transformation for ourselves.

ABOUT THE TEACHER
Gen Kelsang Lhachog is a Buddhist nun, and the resident teacher at KMC Manchester. She has been a student of Geshe Kelsang Gyatso for over 20 years.
Gen Lhachog teaches from her experience of life, making Buddha’s teachings accessible to all. With her warm approach and relaxed manner, she inspires us to practice in our busy daily lives.
