Fri 25 Nov – 16 Dec: Improving our Connections with Others

with Gen Kelsang Lhachog

11am – 12pm

This is an in-person class at our Chorlton Centre.

Please book below or just turn up on the day

In our daily lives we meet or think about many different people.  Some we are close to but others we find challenging and either want to avoid, get angry with or criticize and judge.  All of these ways of reacting cause us pain and often affect those around us as well.  Through an understanding of Buddha’s teachings we can start to recognize where these painful feelings come from and how we can begin to remove them through the practice of meditation and patient acceptance.  These classes are open to everyone. These classes function well if you attend the entire course, however you can also drop in any week.

This course is based on the teachings of Ven Geshe Kelsang Gyatso in his book How to Solve our Human Problems.

In this book, Ven Geshe’la focuses in particular on overcoming the problem of anger, learning how to develop and maintain patience when faced with even the most difficult circumstances.
