Meditation made easy | A 3 week series of classes throughout May | Tuesdays 7:30 – 8:45pm | with experienced Kadampa Teacher Jeff Simm
If we start off in the right way we can make good progress and experience the benefits of meditation. If we set out wrongly we can practise for a long time with not much to show for our efforts. This course invites you to sample some simple guided meditations and learn the basic elements. Its aim is to give you a real taste of meditation and what its benefits might hold for you- and how to begin on the right path.
Week 1, May 6th: Motivation and meditation- learning basic breathing meditation
Week 2, May 13th: Calming our busy mind- learning about concentration, mindfulness and alertness
Week 3, May 20th: Feeling better in body and mind- learning a special breathing technique
