at KMC Manchester, 76 Hight Lane, M21 9XF

7 – 8.30pm

We are very excited to have Gen Kelsang Dornying back in Manchester to give a talk on Happiness in a Changing World.  He is a popular teacher who has visited Manchester many times over the years.
We all want to be happy and free from problems, true.  So how do we do this?  Changing our external conditions alone cannot be the answer.  So what do we need to do?  Buddha teaches that happiness and suffering are parts of our mind, so if we want to be happy and free from suffering we must learn to work with our mind.  We need to begin to transform our mind from negative states to positive states through meditation.  At this talk Gen Dornying will share with us how we can begin to do this.
Gen Kelsang Dornying has been teaching Kadampa Buddhism for over 20 years, mainly in Australia and is now back in the UK as the Resident Teacher at KMC Leeds.  He is an inspiring and insightful teacher who makes Buddha’s teachings clear, accessible and applicable to our daily lives.
Through this talk you will find tools to use in challenging situations, with difficult people and ways to deal with unpleasant feelings that arise.
This talk will be based on Geshe Kelsang Gyatso‘s book ‘How to Solve Our Human Problems‘.
Everyone is welcome to this talk.  Booking is essential.
