Join us for this special evening. It begins at 8pm with mocktails, followed by a talk with Gen Kelsang Lhachog in our beautiful
meditation room on developing a wish for peace. The talk will be followed by sweet potato chilli, dessert and drinks.

Over midnight there will be an opportunity to engage in prayers to Avalokiteshvara, the Buddha of Compassion, bringing in the
New Year with a guided meditation wishing for everyone to be free from suffering and experience happiness. The prayers begin
at 11.15pm.

Please book in advance so we can make sure we have enough food and mocktails!

Gen Lhachog - Resident Teacher KMC Manchester


Gen Kelsang Lhachog is a Buddhist nun, and the resident teacher at KMC Manchester. She has been a student of Geshe Kelsang Gyatso for over 20 years.

Gen Lhachog teaches from her experience of life, making Buddha’s teachings accessible to all. With her warm approach and relaxed manner, she inspires us to practice in our busy daily lives.
